Submission: Gabe Gagnon has been involved with Music since childhood. His Parents Thérèse & Georges were both musicians. From local acts just “gigging” around in the bands Born to Play and then Country on Tap to National Choir Adjudications and Festivals as a High School Music teacher he has run the gamut of professional musicianship. Gabe is a 5 time winner of the Essex County Old Time fiddle and singing Contest. He is the 1999 CNE (formerly Ontario Open) Canadian Open Country Singing Contest winner and the 2000 Canadian Open Country Singing Contest Winner. He has recorded with G.B. Productions, Nashville and is currently in the bluegrass band Winterline which earned nominations at the Central Canadian Bluegrass music awards including Gabe’s Male vocalist nomination.
