It all began in 1998 with Marc Caron, Brian Benoot, and John Couture when they first got together to provide music ministry for a wedding ceremony. The band has continued to evolve with many talented musicians throughout the past 2 decades!
Members have included Ruth Mazan, Brian Sloan, Rob Laurie, Phil Caron, Dean Robert, Kevin Clouthier, Tina Pumfrey, Ron Fleming, Paul Caron and Rosaire Emery. Recent guest musicians Don Cook and Dave Fox have also brought their talent to the group.

Notes:It all starts with a life-long friendship, a love for music and the desire to create… that is what formed Truckstop Super Friends. In 2008 Joel Morningstar and Kenny Phelps decided to pick up their acoustic guitars and combine their musical interests, just to see where it might lead them. It wasn’t long before their new found song writing companionship had them to piecing together a makeshift home studio, now referred to as “The LiL’ White Room”. They provide music ministry for wedding ceremonies and church services. They also entertain at family celebrations, church and community socials, fundraisers, local fairs, community events and dances, and the homes for the elderly.
A portion of entertainment and ministry proceeds is distributed to needy causes such as clean drinking water, mission feeding and housing for the poor and other individual needy situations.

Local Connection: Guitarist Mat Davis (from Chatham-Kent, Wallaceburg) first made waves in the metal scene locally with his band M.A.D.(The Mad) in the early nineties. M.A.D. released a few albums through Fringe records. Mat later moved to London Ontario & did well in the band Salmonblaster.
He moved to San Francisco about eight years ago & is now having a good time with Castle, alongside his girlfriend fronting on vocals & bass guitar.
Mat is constantly on tour through all of the U.S.A., Canada, & Europe. This tour cycle has been expanding & repeating many times during the bands life.
