Bio: A new venue has arrived in Chatham…Lots of pool tables, dart boards,4 big screens, lots of flat screens, a mouthwatering menu, live classic rock/blues/jazz music every Friday, live country music Saturdays,  and the coldest beer in town.

The Official tribute to Chatham’s legendary Rock Bar, the Aberdeen.

Aberdeen Reunion

* The show began at 8pm to a full house. Some of the bands on the bill were reuniting for the first time in years. Lyra reunited for the first time in 28 years and played flawlessly. Beggar’s Opera, Foster Child, & Electric Voodoo all shared in their respective reunions. The Aberdeen had closed 20 years ago this year.

* Highlights included the people who attended. It was a love fest of a true nature, in that all that attended, were attendee’s from back in the day. Many people signed the huge Aberdeen reunion sign, which can be seen at Bar Out Back, in Chatham.

The annual ‘Rock Stock’ concert is in its second year.
2009 featured many bands and reports estimated between 3-4000 people this year. Less of a crowd than last year, but still the only music event put on that draws a crowd in the small city of Chatham.

 “We’re shutting down the airport to bring you the biggest concert that Chatham Kent has ever seen!
Presented on over one million square feet of land, with a one and a half acre beer tent, 10+ big name bands, and a massive licenced drinking area for all you beer monsters.
Don’t miss the biggest party this summer!”

 2008 was the inaugural concert, with headliners such as Finger Eleven, Sloan, The Trews and Thornley. Around 6,000 people attended this event.
