Notes:
For Canadian Worship Leader and Songwriter Brooke Nicholls, the goal has always been to help people experience freedom through Worship. From humble beginnings in rural Churches in her hometown of Chatham, Ontario, to now traveling & leading Churches and ministries across Canada and beyond, Brooke’s heart remains the same: to usher people into transformative encounters with the spirit of God.

For the last seven years, Brooke has served as the Worship Leader at her Church in Burlington, ON, while making a name for her self in the Pop music scene. Now, feeling a call from God and a changing of her heart, Brooke aims to pursue Worship music full time, and will release her debut original Worship Album in July of 2015.

Centered around the theme of God’s redemptive grace in even our most broken situations, the songs on Brooke’s album are heartfelt and honest; a testament to God’s work in her own journey. The album’s lead single, “I Am Free”, is a congregational song that uses the classic imagery of Isaiah 53 to tell the salvation story. Other songs, like the anthemic “Beauty From Ashes”, were written from opportunities Brooke had to witness God’s transformational work in the lives of others; taking broken situations and making them whole. Rounding out the album are new takes on some favorite hymns like “Blessed Assurance”, which was the first song Brooke’s mother fell in love with when she found God 30 years ago.
