  1. This photo brings back so many memories. Here’s a bit of trivia on Justus. Rene Daudlin (singer, guitar) and Gary Authier (singer, bass) originally formed Justus as a duo. They were booked regularly at the Wheel Inn, as well as many other high profile music establishments in Chatham-Kent at that time.

The duo was known for their notable harmonies, as well as their “third member”, an electronic beat box affectionately named “Herbie”.

  2. Hey Gary Mortier
Do you remember me “Jerry Mclaren” on drums with the plainmens, Homegrown,
playing at the Tecoumsie House in Chatham.
Well I am still playing around the Toronto/Hamilton area.
Just wanted to say Hello and hope that everything is good with you.

    Jerry

  3. Hi to all who read this. I love the worK Shawn (Danny’s son) put into this music page and also the input from Shawn Daudlin (Rene’s son). We will miss my fellow band mates Wayne and Gary Mortier. I’m sure they are still playing music in another life!

  4. Hello,
My name is Jennifer and I’m the daughter of Garry Mortier. I’m trying to reach out Garry’s brother’s Larry Mortier and Jack Sullivan. If anyone has their contact information, can you let me know!
